From deception to all out fraud
"
My wife requires a Gluten Free diet and while the Queen Mary was excellent, the Queen Elizabeth was far below par ,to a degree that I would recommend to anyone to think twice before booking.In addition to this, as a couple who has done 29 cruises with 7 different cruise lines, including the Queen Mary, it was very obvious that the meal selection and quantity had been reduced substantially There are more than 20% of the Australian population over 65 with Type 2 Diabetes, a substantial market for any cruise company.

We saw the advert .Sailed the ship.Yes dreams do come true, as soon as we boarded in Tokyo we new this was something special. The ship, the welcome the opulence was there for all to see The staff in all departments especially the Britania resteraunt was exceptional. Definitely felt like a second class passenger with their Grills clients given preference. This is the 21st century & here we still have the class system in action! We were nicked & dimed at every turn! Wifi, pay up; co*ke, pay up; bottle of water for shore excursion, pay up; & so on. Compared with other cruise lines that we have used, the service was sub standard & the food barely average.

We picked this cruise to see New Zealand, This compete fast began on a sour note with the ship being 6 hours into the cruise and a death occurred on board, the boat returned to Sydney to remove the dead person. Went on this cruise for my late honeymoon with my wife. Service and staff was generally amazing, the team keeping the ship clean and serving the food in the Brittania restaurant were top notch.
