Social media users were enamored after Plum shared pictures of herself in the brand’s shapewear on Instagram. In fact, some of them took digs at her husband after they filed for a divorce.
“As the official underwear of the @WNBA, @SKIMS Fits Everybody is as comfortable as it gets #SKIMSpartner,” the caption read. In the images, the athlete could be seen posing while wearing Skims nude and black-colored shapewear. In fact, Plum isn’t the only WNBA star who has promoted Kim Kardashian’s company. Skylar Diggins-Smith, DiJonai Carrington, Cameron Brink, and retired WNBA player Candace Parker also appeared in its campaign. Kim Kardashian’s brand is the official underwear partner of the WNBA.
The brand’s ‘Fits Everybody’ campaign was launched on Monday (May 13). The idea is for it to align with the 2024 season’s tip-off.

Further, Kelsey Plum uploaded another post on her Instagram with three photos and wrote “Part 2” as the caption. A few weeks ago fans were calling out brands to involve the veteran in marketing activities, as Caitlin Clark had taken over the brands and the WNBA by storm. Fans seem happy seeing Plum not only the face of Target but also Kim Kardashian’s Skims. But after seeing Kelsey Plum wear Skims, Instagram users started talking about Darren Waller.

Though the official reason for the divorce hasn’t been made public, many fans have chosen Kelsey Plum’s side. A fan wrote and insinuated how Waller was responsible for the divorce. “Biggest fumble of Darren Waller’s career was off the field.”
A few days ago, Kelsey Plum and the Las Vegas Aces visited the White House as part of the tradition of winning last year’s WNBA championship. Even Plum said she was ready for the new season and excited to win it again with the Aces. Seeing such excitement from the WNBA player and her new photos emerging, a fan commented, “Darren Waller punching the air right now and screaming into a pillow.”

Continuing on the Waller losing out narrative, another fan mentioned, “Waller really fumbled on biggest play his life 😂.” Many Instagram users had a similar reaction. “How can you divorce that” and “Homie messed it up for all the brothas, didn’t he ?” showed the same sentiments from fans.

Plum and Waller are busy athletes. In fact, they had to manage their long-distance marriage because of their intense schedules. “It’s not ideal to have the person that you love the most not with on a daily basis, but we make it work,” Waller told PEOPLE last year. It seems they tried their best to navigate through tough times. However, what eventually led to their divorce hasn’t been revealed.
But Plum has other things to look forward to. With the Aces looking for their 3rd straight title, things won’t be easy. There are new athletes from the 2024 draft picks as well as other teams being tactically ready for a challenge. Speaking to Paloma Villicana, Plum said, “I know that our fans are with us, I know that this organization is with us I know that our team is as tight as we’ve ever been and we really are just embodying that ‘Aces vs. Everybody’ [mentality].”
