Christina Gray worked with the Indiana Gaming Commission for 20 years, starting as an Auditor, then Lead Auditor and spent the last 10 years as Director of Compliance. As Director of Compliance, Gray oversaw all the slot machines and table games, promotions and tournaments approvals, the Voluntary Exclusion Program, patron complaints and disciplinary action recommendations. She also helped develop rules. For the past 7 years, Gray has been the Executive Director of the Indiana Council on Problem Gambling. As the sole employee, she is responsible for advertising, Board membership, donations, conferences, social media, advocacy, education and awareness of disordered gambling and day to day operations.

Mr. Hartwell has a Masters degree in Anthropology and was a member of the research faculty of the Desert Research Institute (DRI) in Las Vegas from 1991 until his retirement in 2023. He continues to hold an Emeritus Scholar position with that organization. He is a longtime member of the National Council on Problem Gambling.

Mr. Hartwell was the Principal Investigator of a DRI research study examining the impact of problem gambling in Native American tribal communities in Nevada. He has presented on this research at several state, regional, national, and international conferences.

As a person in long-term recovery from a gambling disorder himself, Mr. Hartwell has promoted awareness, prevention, and treatment of problem gambling as a consultant to the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) for over 9 years, and recently became that organization’s Executive Director in October 2023. He has spoken publicly and personally on this issue on many occasions and is dedicated to humanizing and illuminating the illness of disordered gambling. He provides annual lectures for the UNLV Boyd School of Law Gaming Regulation and the University of Utah Gaming Regulation classes, and training for Clark County social workers and other providers on the issue of problem gambling.

Mr. Hartwell participated for many years in the UNLV International Gaming Institute’s Responsible Gaming Ambassador training program for Las Vegas Sands Corporation, and he also served as a consultant to MGM Resorts International and the US-Japan Business Council in their efforts to develop business related to the first Integrated Casino Resorts in Japan.

Mr. Hartwell helped introduce the NCPG’s youth gambling awareness and family gambling awareness programs into the Clark County School District (CCSD) in Nevada, and he has also developed NCPG educational programs for local schools on the topics of video gaming disorder and student-athlete gambling awareness.

Mr. Hartwell has served at the pleasure of four Governors on the Nevada State Advisory Committee on Problem Gambling since November 2012. He was the 2014 Shannon L. Bybee Award recipient for his continuing work on advocacy, outreach, and research on the issue of problem gambling. Mr. Hartwell lives in Las Vegas, where he is also a professional cellist with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, a former soccer and volleyball coach, a devoted husband to a Russian immigrant who recently received her US citizenship, and the proud father of a precocious 18-year-old daughter and three cats.

Derek Longmeier is the Executive Director of the Problem Gambling Network of Ohio. He serves as Treasurer on the National Council on Problem Gambling Board of Directors, Chair of the NCPG Finance Committee, and member of the NCPG Affiliate and Membership committees.

Derek co-chairs the Infrastructure Committee of Ohio for Responsible Gambling’s Problem Gambling Service Advisory Board. He also serves on the Prevention committees for the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) and the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.

Derek has attained certification from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant. He holds an MBA from Ohio Dominican University, a BA in Psychology from The Ohio State University, and a Certificate in Social Enterprise from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.

Derek is the 2021 recipient of the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Association’s Prevention Visionary Award and the 2022 recipient of NCPG’s Jim Wuelfing Annual Award for Prevention.

Dave is an eleven-year veteran of the United States Army, and in recovery for a gambling addiction. Dave uses his story and knowledge of gambling, particularly in the military and veteran communities, to raise awareness. Dave has provided gambling disorder training to clinicians for the United States Marine Corps, as well as US Navy Cadets at UC Boulder and the US Airforce Academy in Colorado. Dave works directly with clients as a recovery coach/counselor.

Dave is the host of Fall In, The Problem Gambling Podcast for Military Service Members and Veterans and the author of Fall In, A Veteran with a Gambling Addiction.

Tammi Barlow has over a decade of experience building and managing responsible gaming, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability programs for companies in the gaming industry. She is a highly experienced executive with a demonstrated history of building successful programs from the ground up that comply with regulatory requirements and enhance local communities around the world.

In her current role as Global Vice President of Responsible Gaming, Tammi is responsible for driving the execution of Bally’s global responsible gaming, ESG and community impact strategies, and implementing programs and initiatives that reinforce a culture of responsibility with employees at all levels that align with the Bally’s brand.

Prior to her role at Bally’s Tammi was the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility for Rush Street Interactive, leading the development and execution of RSI’s initiatives focused on responsible gaming, diversity, equity, and inclusion, ESG, community engagement, and corporate giving.

Prior to joining RSI, Tammi served as Director of Responsible Gaming and Corporate Social Responsibility at Caesars Entertainment, Inc. following its acquisition of William Hill PLC. Before that, Tammi was Director of Responsible Gaming and Corporate Social Responsibility at William Hill US. Previously, she served as Manager of Responsible Gaming & Community Relations at International Game Technology (IGT).

Ms. Barlow’s career in the gaming industry began as the Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Northstar Lottery Group, LLC. In 2021, she served as a subject matter expert on Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak’s Advisory Committee on Problem Gambling. Prior to working in gaming, Ms. Barlow worked in health and human services for 13 years with a focus on international development in Sub Saharan Africa.

Tammi Barlow is currently Co-Chairwoman of the Responsible Gaming Committee for the National Council on Problem Gambling, Board member for the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health, Executive member of African Americans in Gaming, and a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for Global Gaming Women.
